Fall Salon presented by bp: Carbon Capture and Storage: A Critical Tool for a Low-Carbon Future

Our annual Salon breakfast programming this year will feature an important conversation related to the energy transition. Please join us for a causal breakfast discussion, “Carbon Capture and Storage: A Critical Tool for a Low-Carbon Future.”

The program will include a short presentation from Chris Walker, Ph.D., bp’s manager, CCS Center of Expertise, and a panel discussion including Walker, Ken B. Medlock III, Ph.D., the James A. Baker, III, and Susan G. Baker Fellow in Energy and Resource Economics at Rice University’s Baker Institute and the senior director of the Center for Energy Studies, Colin Young, Ph.D., Senior Research Scientist, DexMat, and John Hall, president and  CEO of Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC). A moderated conversation between our panelists and attendees will follow.
